Patrick Reyntiens is the worldwide leader in hand-painted stained glass, he has been making work for over 50 years. He is renown for his work in Churches and Cathedrals in the UK and Internationally.
Patrick’s early career was spent working predominantly as the artist/interpreter for John Piper. During the 1960s he collaborated with Piper on glass designs for such buildings as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool and the Baptistery Window of Coventry Cathedral.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s he made a series of panels intended for private collections and interiors on themes that have long interested him, such as Greek mythology, the Commedia del Arte and other subjects.
It is these panels that we are presenting here; almost all of them small enough to be displayed and enjoyed in a domestic setting, though they will also have appeal to collectors who have wanted to purchase work by Patrick, but who have not been in a position to commission large works.
He is still working to commission and privately with his son John Reyntiens.
